After more than a decade of honing her skills as a ceramicist, Jill Kaulius founded Nook Ceramics in the fall of 2024.

During the early stages of starting her own business she began brainstorming names while nestled in her favorite spot in her home —"the nook"— with a blanket, a mug of tea, and twinkle lights above. Naturally, the name Nook Ceramics came to be.

Jill had a clear idea for what she wanted Nook Ceramics Studio to feel like, drawing inspiration from the feeling that the name implies: a cozy, warm, inviting space. She pays attention to the details, utilizing soft lighting, lavender + chamomile aromatherapy, relaxing music, and offers a selection of organic herbal tea for her students.
