Nook Ceramics Studio
This is where the vision comes to life. Nook Ceramics Studio is located minutes from town and has everything you need to learn, create, relax, and connect.
The studio is furnished with 4 new Amaco Brent Model C wheels, a new Skutt KM-1027 kiln, a wide array of professional studio glazes, and stocked with Cone 6 clay from New Mexico Clay. All ceramics are fired to Cone 6 (approximately 2232°F). Nook Ceramics is located minutes from town in Bodo Park.
Private Throwing Lessons
Perfect for families, groups of friends, date nights, and folks visiting from out of town. A fun way to spend an afternoon or evening, check out Nook’s reviews on Google to see what folks have been saying.
Prices listed include the following: clay + glaze cost, Jill completing 1-2 works created in class, which includes the following: trimming, bisque firing, waxing & glazing, and glaze firing.

1 participant: $75 per person per hour
2 participants: $70 per person per hour
3 participants: $65 per person per hour
4 participants: $60 per person per hour
5+ participants: please inquire
For those visiting from out of town, pieces can be shipped domestically for $10 per piece.

One-Time Workshops
Perfect for those that want to try ceramics, but aren’t sure if they are ready to commit to a class series.
In these one-time workshops, you will learn the process of handbuilding or trying out the wheel. You will then pick out a glaze color, and pick up your finished pot in 4-6 weeks.

Teen Pottery Wheel Classes
5-Week Pottery Wheel Class for Teens, Ages 14-18
Meet once per week for a 2 hour class to learn how to throw, trim, attach handles, and glaze.
$375 - Clay and materials are included
Tuesdays 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Adult Pottery Wheel Classes
5-Week Pottery Wheel Class for Adults, Ages 18+
Meet once per week for a 2.5 hour class to learn how to throw, trim, attach handles, and glaze.
$425 - 25lb bag of clay and materials are included

Workshops
Nook Ceramics workshops feature small class sizes in a relaxed environment. These workshops are designed to be accessible to anyone interested in trying something new and are open to all skill levels. Workshops are typically 1.5 - 2 hours long.
In these workshops, you will learn different processes of handbuilding or wheel-throwing. After creating your pot, you will then pick out a glaze color, and pick up your finished pot in 4-6 weeks.
